Hailey-Hailey Disease

A 36-year-old male patient engineer by profession presented with the complaints of blistering skin rash in armpits and in groin region with itching on and off since 4 year came to outpatient department of Mahatma Gandhi Ayurveda College, Hospital and Research Center. Onset was gradual, with exacerbation during summer. History of similar complaint was seen in his father. On general examination, the patient was febrile and vitals were within normal limit. Skin examination of patients shows blistering rash over armpits and groin region. The skin was dry, no discharge, itching on and off. The provisional diagnosis of Hailey-Hailey disease was made on the bases of history and clinical presentation and lesion.
