Il s´agit d´un jeune patient de 30 ans, sans antécédents particuliers, admise pour un traumatisme fermé du poignet gauche. Le patient décrit des douleurs mécaniques du poignet associées à une impotence fonctionnelle totale suite à une chute des escaliers avec réception sur le poignet en flexion palmaire. L´examen physique montre une déformation en ventre de fourchette et une main bote radiale. La radiographie standard a objectivé une luxation radio-carpienne
